We have created an infrastructure in the country that allows us to deploy the complex logistics required to plan a trip of these characteristics in the area.

Our PhotoTravel Headquarters in South Sudan has worked with the most prestigious world photographers, making us one of the few agencies that offer this exciting trip.

In this edition, PhotoTravel offers you an unrepeatable expedition to the heart of South Sudan, a country that is home to a unique ethnographic diversity. A tour in which we will visit some of the most impressive ethnic groups in the world.

We will fly from Juba to Kapoeta, the territory of the Toposa and Jie; we will live together with the Larim in the Boya Mountains. February 4th, 2022. Juba - Terekeka. Visiting the Mundari

Today begins one of the most impressive part of our Photographic Trip to South Sudan; the visit to the Mundari village. We will head north without going too far from the Nile banks until we enter Mundari territory in the Terekeka region. We will set up our camp next to the Mundari settlements, and from there, we will go to the Cattle Camp to observe, and photograph, the life of this spectacular ethnic group. At dusk, when the last rays of sunlight fall on the waters of the Nile, it is when the lights of the bonfires appear at the Cattle Camp. Bonfires and cattle camp dust, a perfect combination for first spectacular photos with the Mundari. Camping in full board.

February 5th, 2022. Living with the Mundari

Today we will witness one of the most spectacular and exciting experiences in the African continent. Mundari hospitality will allow us to know in depth the life of this unique ethnic group. We will visit different Cattle Camps, where we will be surprised by their mystical relationship with cattle, the Ankole-Watusi. Our camera will witness the fascinating daily life and aesthetics of Mundari, including how they dye their hair with the urine of their cows or how the youngest people milk them in the mornings. Hopefully, we will attend the cattle crossings to other islands, looking for green pastures, where they again dismount and mount their Cattle Camps. A journey not to be forgotten, where the semi-nomadic life of the Mundari is evident in every scene we contemplate and photograph. Camping in full board.

The Toposa live with their livestock in a very arid region, which means they constantly move to look for fresh pastures. The deep-rootedness they maintain with their traditions stands out, making them practice animistic religions and continue facial and body scarifications. Camping in full board
